Granary Cottage Details

On arrival guests will find a warm and cosy cottage complete with a log burning stove in the lounge. For your comfort the cottage also has oil fired central heating and is double glazed throughout.   Two designated private parking spaces are available to use with the cottage and are located within the surroundings of the Steadings.  The cottage is a dog friendly property and welcomes well behaved, house trained dogs. On the first floor are two large bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size bed and the other room offers two single beds. All beds are dressed with cozy soft bedding along with large coordinated throws for comfort.  The house bathroom is also located on the first floor and provides an easy access walk-in shower. Bath sheets are provided for guests to use along with an ample supply of ‘dog towels’ to help dry off your soggy dogs after a day out on the hills.

The fitted kitchen and dining room are both well equipped for any length of stay and includes a Smeg dishwasher, Siemen fridge freezer, Swan microwave, Stovis induction hob, Hoover washing machine and a Bosch oven. The large comfortable lounge is home to a Morso wood burning stove which is enjoyed by most of our guests even in the summer time !  I am happy to provide, logs and kindling at no extra charge for the duration of your stay.  The Cottage has excellent Fibre WiFi throughout, fast enough to run all your devices from and make zoom meetings if necessary.  There is large smart TV in the lounge for you to use along with the usual channels via Freesat.

Granary Cottage is a no smoking no vaping property and the use of candles is strictly prohibited.

To the rear of the property is an enclosed garden with a patio area complete with table and chairs. A Webber gas BBQ is available for guests to use.

Given the remoteness of Granary Cottage it is advisable to pack wisely for your stay as popping to the shops can be a timely and costly inconvenience. Shops, bars and restaurants are at least an hours drive away from the cottage.  It is also essential that you have enough fuel for your stay and to get back to civilization as the nearest petrol station is in Blair Atholl approximately 25 miles away but provides a 24/7 service.

ASDA OR MORRISONS HOME DELIVERY
It is highly recommend that you consider booking an Asda or Morrisons home delivery for your stay, Asda and Morrisons are the only supermarkets to offer this service in the immediate area.  This is the easiest way to transport bulky and or frozen goods to the cottage saving space in your car for the bikes and paddle boards ! Your order can be delivered to the cottage on the day of your arrival and if it arrives prior to your arrival I will check it and unpack it in time for your arrival. Past guests highly recommend this service and have found it really helpful.
