Post-Taste

The Rannoch and Tummel Community Venture Welcomes you to Post Taste.

The venture was formed in early 2002 by a public meeting, the objects of the venture are (some of which have been achieved):-

To save the Post Office (which was in danger of closing)

To provide vital petrol/diesel supplies in the glen due to closure of previous filling station.

To open a cafe where local people could meet and for visitors, open all year round.

To have Internet access for locals and visitors.

To have an outlet for local crafts and paintings.

To have a tourist information facility for visitors.

All the above objectives have been achieved the latest being the fuel supply, the funding for which came from the Scottish Executive rural petrol initiative, a grant from the Scottish Community Foundation, an interest free loan and most importantly from the generosity of the local community and visitors to Kinloch Rannoch.

Post Taste is open 1000 - 1600 for tea, coffee and light meals and from 1800 - 2030 for evening meals.For reservations Tel. +44(01882) 632333

‘A Gem of a Place’

We Offer a Three Course Evening Meal, with a Choice of Two Dishes in Each Course. Complimentary Pre-Dinner Drinks, with Freshly Prepared Canapés set the Atmosphere for a Super Evening. Freshly Baked Breads, Hot from the Oven, accompany the First Course, and there is Coffee and Mints After Dinner. We have an excellent and reasonably priced wine list. Our Dinner Tariff is £25.00 per person.
